These terms apply when you use pairisen.com, join our waitlist or submit a shop through our For opticians page. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What Pairisen is
Pairisen is a shopping site for designer and luxury eyewear. We help you find frames and the stores that carry them. We don't sell eyewear, take payments or hold stock. When you buy, you buy from the store, on the store's own website or in person, and the store's terms, returns policy and warranty apply to that purchase. Pairisen isn't a party to it.
Using the site
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the site.
- Give accurate information when you join the waitlist or submit a shop, and only submit a shop you own or manage.
- Don't misuse the site: no scraping or automated collection of its content, no attempts to break, overload or get around its security, no submitting false, misleading or spam content, and no using the site to break the law.
Information on the site
We work to keep everything on Pairisen accurate and current, but details such as availability, products and store information can change and may sometimes be wrong. Always confirm the details on the store's site, or with the store, before you buy. Guides and articles on Pairisen are general information, not professional advice; for your eyes and your prescription, see an optometrist or optician.
Links, stores and commissions
Pairisen links to websites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, products, policies or practices. Some links may earn Pairisen a commission when you buy; this never changes what you pay. Our affiliate disclosure explains how this works.
Shop submissions
If you submit a shop, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you're allowed to share it, and you give Pairisen permission to use it, together with publicly available information about the shop, to review, verify and list the shop on Pairisen. Submitting a shop doesn't guarantee a listing, and we may decline or remove a listing at our discretion.
Ownership
The Pairisen name, logo, site design and original content belong to Pairisen. You may share links to our pages, but please don't copy or reuse our content without permission. Brand names, logos and product images shown on Pairisen belong to their owners. Showing them doesn't mean the owner endorses or is affiliated with Pairisen, unless we say so.
Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, Pairisen disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and doesn't promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pairisen won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a purchase you make from a store, from your use of the site or from your reliance on information on it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If you misuse the site or break these terms, you agree to cover any reasonable claims, losses and costs that result for Pairisen, including reasonable legal fees.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
Changes
We may update these terms as Pairisen grows. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll give notice on the site or by email to waitlist members before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
